Leaking hydro oil now?

I have an Exmark Turf Tracer that just started to leak hydro oil. It hasn't been used in about 3 months. Why now? It did the same thing last year about this time. Could not find a leak and it ever lost a drop during the season.

Any thoughts?

Lawn Gun Identification

Is anybody familiar with this gun? Three owners later, we have no clue about the manufacturer or model. They have always held up better than the Lesco guns, and are easy to maintain. As they became worn or damaged, we started buying other guns, but they've all been disappointing. We'd love to find more of these if they still exist.

Poulan Pole Saw

Have a customer's Poulan Pro pole saw pp258tpc. Replaced spark plug, carb, fuel lines and filter. It will run great but it will not start cold without pouring gas into the cylinder. 150 psi compression, good spark and primer bulb will fill with fuel when pressed. Will start when warm.

BR600 Locked Up

Another BR600 came in the shop and couldn't turn the crank. This unit is about 3+years old soooo. Tore it down quickly until I got to the fan and had to order a stop.

Don't mess around with rope it won't work and you could do more damage. I am hoping it is the cam gear that broke. Can't use piston stop on echo it will crack piston.

Broken Cooling Fan Fins on Kawasaki FX651V

I've got an unusual problem - the fins on the cooling fan keep breaking off on my Kawasaki FX651V. This started happening when I first pulled my mower out to get it ready for this season. The first time it happened, I figured something may have gotten caught inside the fan shroud but I found no evidence of the fan hitting anything while rotating the engine by hand. So I threw another one from a parts motor I had and made sure I torqued down to spec. I ran it for 15 minutes, parked it, and...

Echo 8010 static wire routing

All three of my rebuild machines have the wire broken or gone. I see the metal strip on the handle and wire must be riveted to it on inside of tube. Where does the other end connect?

eaton 778 repair/replacement

Hi,
I have an older steiner ztm200 18 hp briggs and 52" deck. The right side hydro is an eaton 778-043 and has quit working. It acts like the fluid is not flowing inside of the hydro. I am going to try and take it apart this weekend. Have already downloaded the eaton directions from thier website. In case this is not repairable by the average person, I am a maintenance technician in a factory as my main job. Can anyone point me in the direction of someone that can rebuild thse and or...

Kaw 600V twin cylinder, 18.5 hp

will not charge battery. Have 38ac volt out of alt. 14dc volt out of connector on right side of regulator. I think my problem is in wiring to ign switch. I do not see any fuses. My question is . Might there be a fuse somewhere? and can I just run a wire from the single dc post on the regulator to the positive side of the battery. Thanks

Bobcat ZT220D slow

I have a Bobcat Zt220d diesel 942225 that runs just fine but is pretty slow. Does anyone know a way to turn up the heat without risking damage? I was thinking about making the engine run at higher rpms but im worried that I might cause issues with the Diesel engine. The engine screams at full throttle but the speed doesn’t show it.

30" Time master upper handle replacement

My upper metal handle needs replaced. I dont see how to remove the plastic slide handle without breaking any of the plastic tabs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

27hp Briggs and stratton compression test

Hey All, new here. tried searching steps in testing compression on a Scag Tiger Cat running a Briggs 27hp (44Q977-0118-G5), was unable to find what I needed. I've hooked up my gauge on both cylinders and get a reading of 0. The mower runs well but has a substantial oil leak. Before I broke it down replacing gaskets I wanted to have an idea of where the compression stood. Any suggestions?
