Hey guys, I could use some help... Recently I was cutting a yard and my mower died. I thought it ran out of gas so I put some in it and it wouldn't start back up. (Fuses were good it was Not turning over nor was the battery clicking) Wasn't getting any action from my relays or starter. Did some troubleshooting and after 3 days I've replaced, the PB switch, both control arm switches (one was bad and I started getting action from my relays but it didn't fix the problem) I've changed the seat...

Propane to gas

I was given a couple floor buffers, one never used and the other has 300 hours on the engine. My plan was to swap them to a couple of walk behinds. The engines are kawasaki fs481v-es10-m. Shaft length should be the same of what is currently of mowers

I was wondering what needs changed to convert to gas. I'm assuming fuel pump, muffler and carb. There is a sensor attached to muffler, also it has two pipes going toward each valve cover instead of just one pipe.

Am I missing anything or...

Bought two M36-42 walker mowers. Need info on servicing final drive. Changed hydros oil but am not sure if they lube final drive. No info can be found in manuals. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey all, I'm brand new to this site so I'm sorry if this post isnt following the standard.

I Recently Bought a Bluebird H424 areator from my neighbor for $100. He no longer has the time or strength to operate it. Everything on the machine works great. But somehow he has misplaced the weights for the machine. We have looked everywhere and cant find them.

I got in contact with a Bluebird representative and he told me those weights are very expensive and I'm better off just rigging something...

I have a 2007 RT100 Vermeer Trencher I am working on. It has two stacked pumps.The front pump directly off the engine. Has the suction line then sends pressure to valve body controlling lift arm and chain drive motor. From the valve body fluid then goes to cooler then the filter before it goes into tank some fluid goes into 2nd pump Hydro gear used only for drive wheels, then goes back to tank.
I have dealt with many Hydraulic issues before with equipment this is the first Vermeer...

Deere LX176 - when brake is eased off, machine labours and stalls

My old treasure, this LX176 ("K" series, mod FC420C 38" cut) is in trouble.
This started suddenly.
Start engine with brake applied, fires & runs perfectly - ease foot off brake to start moving - engine starts to labour, and stalls. Can anyone help? We're on 15acres; I can't keep it up without my treasure. Any relevant advice would e SO MUCH appreciated...

Long story short I drove 3 hours to pick up this non running stander. PO used it commercially. Ad said engine seized needed a new engine than good to go. I get there to pick it up guy immediately asks me how I want it loaded on my trailer I don’t get a good look at it. I should have known at this point something was up. I get it home and start looking at it and I think to myself this thing is mangled.

I message the guy like what the hell happened to this thing wiring harness is spliced...

2009 GrandStand Deck Adjustment Issues

I have a 2009 Toro GrandStand 52”
Model: 74559
Its got about 2200 hours on it.
August 2019 I replaced the bar-lift (pn: 117-3611) because the original one broke.

Since then I can not get the adjustment mechanism to work right. I replaced the 2 gas springs in August 2018 because the old ones didn't work at all when I bought it so I know those aren’t the issue.

I’m trying to figure out if there is any other adjustment besides the jam nut and adjustment screw at the bottom of the bar-lift....

Dixie Chopper paint cross reference

I recently went online to find out what paint I needed to buy for my Dixie Chopper deck. I found that their are two silvers available. Both are around $30, which in my opinion is ridiculous. On top of this, the paints are “discontinued”. Does anyone out their know what the two shades of silver are for, and some possible cross references? Thanks in advance.

Honda HRX217 transmssion swap?

I have the HMA model. A replacement tranny (20001-VE5-A01) is $200+. But there are also HRX217 trannys (20001-VH7-003) avaialble for around $130. Since the deck appears to be the same for all 217's throughout the years, say, 2005 -2105 or so, could one use the cheaper trannys & save $? My gut says no, but I have searched and found nothing. So, what is the difference; I think they are both hydro? Anybody know? Maybe it has something to do with the spinstop feature. My HMA has spin stop but...

Long story short, I want to reach out to local LCO’s and contractors about trailer repair, and gas trucks. I have a good location ready to rent, (nothing extreme, just a place to work). I have also been putting some time in stick welding, so I want to utilize that. I looked into welding courses, that is to come soon fingers crossed..

Anyone done this before? Looking to do this in the off season, and at night after cutting/landscaping..

I’ve worked in a shop, went to trade school, and have...

Hello all,

Came here looking for a hope and prayer. I'm at my witts end with this thing.

I have a everide warrior (model: ZKW2560) it has the Kawasaki 25hp (FH721V) v-twin engine on it.

Ran the mower great all spring and summer. then, when I put it up for the fall, I went out to start it just a couple weeks later to mulch up some leaves. It wouldn't start. I have tried so many things to get this thing running.

I got fuel (even tried spraying starting fluid in)
Got air
Tested for spark by...

The only picture I could find, NOT intended as an ad for this place.... View attachment 395797 Carlisle are 4ply and expensive. Bought some Deestone tires that were 6ply and loved them. The new comer I am looking at is Million Part tires. Cannot find the manufacturer or any test on them. Wonder if anyone here is familiar with that brand. Can find a slow jet # 16158-7006 no where ?

Hi, I'm rebuilding a carburetor off of a kawasaki fh641v-bs09. I cant find a slow jet part number 16158-7006 and a main jet #130 part number 920636-7018 anywhere and was told they are discontinued smh lol. Does anyone have any of these on a shelf somewhere or have a old carb like mine for sale. Or no of any replacement or non oem parts that would fit or work? Any help would be muchly appreciated or if someone can point me in the right direction. A new carb is like 300 for these things

Kohler Command Pro CV740 dipstick oring

... I'm definitely feeling like a dipstick! Rebuilding a CV740. The o-ring that came in the rebuild kit (at least it seems like the right oring) is thicker than the original. I would imagine that after 15 years of abuse, but for love or money I can't lube and get the new oring to slide into the block. The old oring goes in pretty loose (not a good seal!)

Digging around I cannot find any dimensional information on that o-ring. Details seem to be lacking in parts catalogs. Thanks!
