I am still trying to determine if a Walker Hydrostatic drive can be rebuilt. I have learned it is built by Eaton. My Walker manual shows some parts for the input shaft side(gear/bearing/seal etc.). It has been suggested that you can't open the system but since Walker sells bearings and seal this suggests otherwise. Has any of you Walker guys had one rebuilt?? And has anybody used JD Thomas replacement part?

Briggs Vanguard swap questions
Hi all,
I'm attempting to install a Vanguard Big Block I picked up. The engine is model 613777-0001-J1. I am trying to figure out all the colors on the wiring harness. The connector is an 8 pin with 5 wires. Orange/Peach, Black, Green, Yellow, and Grey. I believe the black is the kill switch, the green an oil pressure switch, the yellow the starter, the grey the fuel solenoid, and I'm really not sure on the peach/orange one. Can anyone clue me in?
I also am not certain of the function...

Lawnboy 2 stroke carb question
It's a lawnboy 2 stroke duraforce engine, model 10323. Anyways really don't use it much, here at the house but last yr re-did the carb, as was not running right, symtoms, pointed to the carb. Forgot what parts I replaced on it, if remember, the float and valve and believe the jet or nozzle, along with maybe the gasket. Cleaned it all up pretty good and got it back together, fired right up and sounded great. About 10-15 minutes in of using I started loosing power, surging, like it was running...

Speedi Sleeve
If anyone ever encounters a worn shaft from a seal wearing into it, there is a solution other than replacing the shaft. Kawasaki 17 hp twin 500 v
A buddy brought me a EX Mark ZT with the Kawi 17 hp twin. I haven't dwelled on it all that much since we have been under the gun with all this bad weather down here in Louisiana.
He started it and went to give the gas to mow. No response at all from the cable.
I looked at it and the panel seems to works fine. I took the panel off and can get the engine too rev up by moving the gov rod by hand. Gov spring is hooked to the panel.
Any thoughts on this issue my friends ??

FH531V runs rough under load after 10 min
I have a Husqvarna ZTR with a Kawasaki FH531V AS05. Crank it cold and it runs great for the first 10 minutes. After that, it starts sputtering when I put it under a load by thrusting forward quickly on the handles.
The warmer it gets, the more it sputters when moving forward till I'm just crawling while trying to cut grass. If I stop the forward motion but leave the PTO engaged, it will catch back up and run okay. It is only under a load that it acts up. Doesn't take much of a load...

I am not a lawn care business owner. I cut about 12 acres of private land. I have owned a Scag Turf Tiger for over 15 years. It has proved to be a rugged piece of equipment. However, last year I had issues with it that led me to get a new mower. Thru the past 15 years of getting bounced around I wanted something with more comfort. I decided to go with a Ferris 3100 61". V ride deck not level
Have a 2015 Scag VRide 48" floating deck mower, and only 3 of the deck chains have tension on them, which
makes the deck pivot and not sit the same height off the ground on each side..Can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

19 Kaw Vibration Problems
I have a 19 Kaw FH601V. It's on a Bunton 2190. Motor has around 900 hours on it. Last year I noticed a weird vibration in the motor. Now this is not where the motor shakes or surges, as if the carb were gummed or governor issue. This is almost like a semi-sonic vibration. Hard to explain, but if you sit on the machine at half throttle (where its the most noticeable) you can feel the motor pulse with a wah..wah..wah..cadence. Kohler 20HP Not Shutting Off
My Kohler 20HP 2 cylinder engine on my Ransomes ZT100 is not shutting off when I turn the key to off. Once cylinder shuts off but the other one keeps going. I dont know how this coil circuit works. Is there a kill wire or is the key switch the only thing to cause this.

On deck spindles how much grease do you put in them? There is a plug on the bottom of spindle housing does these get greased to. Does this type of spindle use a tapered bearing?

Electrical problem
04 DC 27hp kohler. I cannot get this machine to start unless I jump it. Battery is testing good. Past two years I've had to but a new battery at the start of the season. Works fine for a few weeks then the battery goes dead. I can jump it and run it and it will start for a few more days then dead again. Now, I must jump it every time and as soon as I turn it off it's dead as a door nail again. Changed the rectifier. Checked any fuses. Solenoid is good. Grounded some where? Any suggestions....

Tank M60 Power Issue
Looking for a little help, I have a tank m60 with the kohler commander 27 hp motor. while cutting the grass at high throttle from time to time it will throttle down for like a minute or two by itself and then throttle back up. almost like the motor is starving for fuel. This is in low grass areas where she should be running good. It does this pretty regular.
