I have a trailer that needs a new roof vent. The old one blew off in a recent storm. I am concerned with the weight of a person being on the roof, since it is thin metal. The two options I am considering are: 1. Putting a 3' x 8' piece of plywood on top of roof to distribute the weight across the roof structural supports.
