Dixon engine problem

I am told that this needs to be directed to Jim Q. I have a 2006 Dixon Kodiak with failed engine. 1. intermittent engine temperatures between normal and 220 deg. F. Added coolant which was low. 2. Intermittent "cupping" sounds accompanied with puffs of white smoke. 3. Normal running followed by black/gray smoke intermittent, with first time ever excessive oil consumption.
