Grasshopper 335 Big Block will not start

I am new to the group - I purchased a used Grasshopper 335 from a Grasshopper dealer. When I got, it started fine, no issues, and cut the grass like a champion. I parked the mower, and due to rain, it was two weeks before I would have a chance to cut it again. When I went to cut it, I tried to start it, and it would turnover, but not start (sounded like when a gas weedeater does, right before it starts).
