I have a scag tiger cub that has a kawasaki 19hp engine

i believe my starter solenoid switch is going bad. My mower will not start and not even attempt to fire and then all of a sudden it will start and run fine and then a few tries later it will go back to not even attempting to turn at all.
I have been trying to find a part number for this switch and what i came up with was
21163-7026
Is there any way to confirm this without having to call up a dealer?...
