Hit Seed Pod, Lawn Mower Starts, then DIES! Help :-)

Hi All,

Just joined. My name is Ron. Glad to join your forum.

I ran over a hard object buried in some leaves while mowing! Ouch. Mower puttered, then died. When I restart, starts right up, and then dies right away (2 seconds).

1) Pulled flywheel, key was fine, replaced it anyway.

2) Blade lock key is fine. When I turn the blade, the shaft turns without looseness.

Any other ideas on how to find the problem?

How would I test to see if I did internal damage?
