I have a 2010 Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle I bought at the end of last year. They guy had it as a backup mower and it ended up sitting around for a few years. Only has 20 hours on it and it looks like new.
It ran when I picked it up but wouldn't idle. Was also hard to get started. I could see the slime in the stale fuel tanks. Here's what I've done so far.
Cleaned fuel tanks
New carburetor
New fuel pump
All rubber fuel lines and filter replaced
Replaced spark plugs
Change...
