I just picked up a very clean 1997 Scag 48" hydro walk behind unit. Model number is SWZ48-16BV and the serial number starts with 2977xxx.
I just changed the motor oil, oil filter and fuel filter. I also greased the machine. I want to change the hydro oil and filter but I've never done it and I'm not sure what the proper procedure is.
The online manual for this mower says to use SAE 10W30 fluid and a 10 micron filter (48462-01 I believe).
Would synthetic be an advantage over conventional...
