Exmark LazerZ XS blowing fuse intermittantly

Hello. I have an older Exmark Lazer Z XS with a Briggs 35HP. it has started blowing the fuse that goes to the starter switch. It blows right after the seat delay relay makes. Started tracing the short and before i got anywhere the short went away and unit operates fine. i jiggle every wire i can find and nothing makes it blow again. Put it on the trailer, mow a half dozen lawns and it does it again. Get it home and the short is gone. Has happened that way twice now. Any ideas?
