New mower - bought last summer (~20 hrs).
Pulled it out for 1st mowing of season (Michigan, you know...), and this is what I experience:
1. when I engaged the blades, engine sounded strained and it was quite slow to pick up rpm.
2. the spring-loaded tentioner was vibrating, even to a point of dropping the belt once.
3. even after letting the engine gather rpm, the deck belt does not run very smoothly (it vibrates and the tentioner is shaking)
4. mowing uphill the engine seem to...
