Craftsman 16hp won't start

My old 90's Craftsman 16hp won't start. Hit key nothing.....Battery has full charge with clean terminals.

How do I trace the juice going from the battery to???? I have a multi-meter. I know there is an Ignition Switch, Starter Solenoid and Starter. Where do I test and how do I do it. Do I need an assistant to turn key to start while testing.

Would appreciate step by step instructions where to start, what to do and how to diagnose the problem.
