Replacing Fx691v with Fx1000v

So I blew up a Fx691v and have the opportunity to replace it with a Fx1000v. This is going on a toro 3000 series with a 52 inch deck. Basically I want to know if this is doable and if it is, is it reasonable? The Fx1000 is a big boy motor and I think it is 10 hp more than the motor currently in it. The new one will be 35HP. I am getting a decent deal on the Fx1000 that is why I am kicking it around.
