I have noticed some up and down play the last 2 times I changed blades on my 2006 Toro WB. It has not gotten worse and has bout 100hours on it since I first noticed the play. AFter looking into replacing the spindle, this isn't exactly a bolt on swap, it's a sealed unit with what I believe is a tapered roller bearing. So, I would like to replace these sometime during the off season and they are original spindles and bearings from 2006! So, they've definitely held up for the 1200hours...
