I have a 28" worldlawn zero turn walk behind. Two 14" blades with pulleys and blade belt.
The manual says the correct tightness for the blade belt is: when the blade lever is engaged it should take 10lbs of force to make the belt move in 1/4" at a certain area of the belt (an area where the belt spans its furthest distance between any pulleys meaning that area is the most springy and therefore has to be quite tight.
I don't have a belt tension gauge and I don't want to buy some cheap one...
how tight for blade belt? Belt tension gauge?
