As of recent I have been doing a lot of research and testing. I decided to switch over my exmark Kohler command efi 1000 to 0w-30 oil. At first I switched over to 20w50 per Kohlers recommendation to supposedly lower oil consumption. I also did this in my Kohler whole house generator that has the same engine but lpg.
