PLEASE HELP! Exmark Pioneer E series. Died while cutting won’t start

I was cutting my grass this afternoon. And it just randomly died as I stopped to check my phone. Well I tried to get it to start and all I get is a whining noise from what I assume is the starter. All the safety indicators are showing up as being made but I turn it over and you can hear the whine. Just seeing what everyone’s opinions are on what could be the issue.

I should note that the choke was bumped up when it cut off I don’t know if I bumped it when pulling my phone out of my pocket...
