TB675EC - Repairable?

I know anything is repairable, but is this too much damage to consider self-repair. I know it would be too expensive to have someone else do it.

I have a Troy Bilt TB675EC Gas String trimmer. The other day, I heard a screeching sound and parts started falling out. Turned out to be the flywheel fragmented. Must have hit an obstruction but I'll be darn, if I can figure out how it happened. Maybe something got inside.
