I have a McCulloch Eager Beaver 280 (1992 circa) and the rope recoil system is toast. Do you know if the model 282 is interchangeable with the 280? This is the entire pull rope system that attaches to the block that incorporates the kill switch. Also might I add that it's unrepairable due to the internal design of the rope recoil that rides on a center axis that is molded to the plastic head. Thanks for any help!
