Hour meter not working on Gravely Pro-Stance

I bought a demo pro-stance late last fall and the hour meter is not working on it. Unfortunately I was stupid and never even noticed until I used it for the first time this spring. My dealer replaced the hour meter but it's still not working. Everything looks like it's connected right but it's not working at all. Any quick fixed that you guys can think of? My dealer said their shop is packed and it's 3 to 4 week wait.
