I did today. Yay Kohler! Lets put a weep/drain hole in the starter to release any trapped water......But put it on the TOP of the starter. ![:rolleyes:]( "Roll Eyes :rolleyes:")
Starter was acting all sluggish, then stopped and got REALLY hot in like 2 seconds.
Crap.
Pulled shrouds, pulled starter, turned it upside down to carry it to the truck and about 20Oz of nasty black grey water started peeing out it.
Awesome.
Stripped it apart, top bushing was fine, stator was fine(but nasty) commutator was dirty as crap,...
