John Deere z trak z820a starting trouble

I have a John Deere z820a zero turn mower that's giving me trouble. The past two days it's been 10 to 20 degrees with the windchill in the morning at about 7 to 9am. The mower was having trouble starting some days after trying to charge the battery multiple times over a few week period. Looking back now, it was probably cooler mornings. I swapped the battery with another good battery from a different mower.
