I just bought this 328-d knowing it had issues with the PTO, I got it broken down, the bearing are in good shape but I am going to change them while I have it apart, the guy I bought it from had already started taking it apart and gave up when he realized it was more than he wanted to handle. My question is does the PTO shaft suppose to have a step down in it on the pulley end about 4" inside the tube? It's only about a ⅛" deep by maybe 1" wife, thanks for the help
