Husqvarna Edger 525ES

I have an edger that is having trouble starting. It also doesn't consistently stay running when the choke is off.

I've been using a trimmer to edge but have time today to work on the edger. Any ideas what may be wrong or trouble shooting steps I should go through would be greatly appreciated because I'm a novice at small engine repairs.
