i have a john deere 757 with a newer 28hp kawasaki it starts in the morning with choke in about 5 seconds (normal morning start up) after it warms up it takes about 30 seconds to a 1minute to start when i get to the next yard choke or no choke dosent matter. i put a new fuel filter, and a extra fuel pump i had lying around to see if it helps. mower runs and cuts fine nothing weird. it does backfire when i turn it over for a long period of time only once in a while though. im stumped any...
